On a commercial build the main contractor knows what happened. The problem is everyone else: a tenant whose fit-out is booked for a fixed date, a funder releasing money against progress, a client representative who visits once a month.

Each of them forms a view from whatever reaches them, and that is usually a written report. A dated photo series turns the report into something the reader can check, without adding a task to anyone's day.

What a continuous record is worth when the programme slips

Commercial contracts fail on sequence and on dates. When a variation was instructed, when a trade was let in late, when weather stopped the pour, when a service was covered up — those facts decide the cost.

A timestamped series settles them without anyone reconstructing the month from memory. Pull the photos for the period, download the archive and attach it to the notice, the claim or the meeting minutes.

For everyone who does log in, access is granted per project and per role, so a subcontractor sees the site they work on and the client sees theirs.

After practical completion

Defects, warranty claims and insurance questions arrive once the site has been cleared, when the only evidence left is what somebody photographed at the time.

Site photography stays available for 30 days after the contract ends; download the archive for any earlier period and keep it in the project file. Everything is stored encrypted in the EU, in line with GDPR.
