Why renting fits construction

Buying site cameras means owning a small fleet of specialist hardware between projects: storing it, charging someone's budget for it, keeping SIM cards alive, and replacing units that have spent two winters on a mast.

It also means solving the same problems yourself every time. Where does the data go, who hosts it, who gives the client access, what happens to the archive when the job closes.

Renting turns all of that into a line on the project budget. The camera arrives configured for that site, works for the length of the contract, and goes back afterwards.

How pricing works

Pricing is per project, based on how many cameras the site needs and how long the build runs. A six-month refurbishment with one camera and a three-year infrastructure programme with several are different numbers for obvious reasons.

There is no separate software licence, no per-user fee and no charge for downloading your own photos. Tell us the site and the duration and you get one figure.

Start and end of the rental

The camera ships pre-configured. Mount it on scaffolding, a mast or a fixed pole, point it where you want it, and the site is normally online within 24 hours.

At the other end, site photography is kept for 30 days after the contract ends. Download the full-project archive during that window and the record stays with you at full resolution after the hardware has gone back.

Pricing is per project and depends on the number of cameras and how long you need them. The camera, the 4G connection, EU storage and the client portal are all included in that price.

Rentals are matched to the project rather than to a fixed term. Tell us the expected duration of the build and we will price it for that.

The camera connects over its own 4G, so it can be remounted anywhere on the site with a clear view. There is no cabling to redo and no network to reconfigure.

Site photography is kept for 30 days after the contract ends and is then deleted. Download the full-project archive during that window to keep the record.
